The filler cap is brightly polished while the emblem has a slightly darker brushed aluminum appearance. You simply affix the emblem to the top of the cap AFTER it has been installed on the vehicle. Image Note: The 'nismo' emblem included with this oil filler cap comes with a thin protective film on it. Note that we left the film in place in the images above. Supercession Note: Nissan has discontinued the previous version of this cap. The only difference between this new version and the old version is the emblem, which had a solid 'o' in 'nismo'. It also had 'NISSAN MOTORSPORTS INTERNATIONAL' printed below 'nismo'. NISMO Products: Unfortunately, we have seen a rise in imitation parts being sold as Genuine NISMO items. The Genuine NISMO Billet Aluminum Oil Filler Cap only comes in one color option: Polished Aluminum. The emblem that comes with the Oil Filler Cap is never pre-installed and has a brushed appearance to it. Genuine NISMO Oil caps come with a standard style o-ring seal (completely round), while some imitations come with a "flat" seal (which often times ends up leaking).
