This rear brace panel fits all versions of the Ford Focus Mk2 except the ST and the RS. Fitting a panel brace helps to stop the chassis flexing while cornering, this increased chassis stiffness means the suspension is able to work from a more stable platform which in turn means increased cornering speeds and improved handling predictability. The panel bolts to the existing bolts so there is no requirements to cut or weld the car.
