Duration of Action Pain relief typically begins within 30-60 minutes of administration. The effects generally last for 4-6 hours. Dosage Adults and children over 12 years: 1-2 caplets (500mg-1000mg) every 4-6 hours as needed. Maximum of 8 caplets (4000mg) in 24 hours.
